Vodka Gimlet Cocktail

Vodka Gimlet Cocktail

The classic gimlet is made with gin, but this version is made with vodka, lime and simple syrup. It’s perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day.

Are you looking for a summertime sipper that tastes great but isn’t overly alcoholic in flavor? This vodka gimlet is what you’re looking for. Yes, it’s mostly alcohol, but with the addition of lime and syrup you don’t get that hot burning flavor that sometimes comes with liquor drinks. This is an easy sipper on hot days.

I like clear liquor drinks when it’s hot outside. They’re cooling but not overbearing in flavor.

The other nice thing about the gimlet is that it’s easy to make. 3 ingredients is all it takes to make this crisp libation.

I’m purposely keeping this post short because it’s Friday and who want to read a bunch of gobbledy gook about a nice and simple drink like the vodka gimlet. CHEERS!
