Clean Inspired Recipes
I decided to add a super healthy section to the site because I am in the final days of a three week detox. I know what you’re thinking, because I am the same way – Detox Schmetox.
Well, I don’t eat poorly to begin with. I don’t drink sodas, I don’t eat fast food, only eat out occasionally, but I do drink caffeine and alcohol and hit the sugar every once in a while. But I’m having some surgery in a couple of weeks, so I thought I would prepare myself as best as possible.
Well, so far I’ve dropped 8 pounds and it looks like it will be 10 pounds by the end of the cleanse. So I’m not complaining about that at all. I feel good and my skin has never looked better. Drinking all that water really helps (I’ll admit that I’m horrible at drinking enough water).
The program that I’ve been doing is The Clean Program by Dr. Junger. There are some pretty good recipes in the book, but you know me…I’ve got to do my own thing. So this is where I thought I would share those recipes with you.
Craig has been eating the same dishes as I have been. I’ve given him a bit of a warning on some of the food, because I just wasn’t sure if he’d eat it. He’s lost 5 pounds and is not on the cleanse program with me.
So, I’m not saying your guy won’t eat/like these recipes I’m just putting the recipes in this special section so that you can determine if you would like to prepare these dishes for him or keep them for yourself.
