Maple Turkey Breakfast Sausage - it's what's for breakfast. This easy recipe will have you making your own breakfast sausage instead of buying it.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl. Make sure you mix all the seasonings thoroughly into the turkey.
  2. Use a ¼ cup measuring cup to measure out the turkey and form it into a ¼" thick pattie.
  3. Cook over medium high heat (approximately 2 minutes) until browned on one side. Flip and cook on the other side.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Serve
