Mocha Irish coffee jello shots. Yes, it's a thing and YES you want these in your life. Pop a jello shot and get the flavors of mocha coffee and Irish whiskey.

  • 3¾ ounces coffee, room temperature
  • ¾ ounce Nectevia
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin
  • ¾ ounce creme de cocoa liqueur
  • 3 ounces hot water, not quite boiling
  • ¾ ounce heavy cream
  • 3 ounces Irish whiskey
  • dark chocolate bar
  1. Add the coffee and Nectevia to a 2 cup measuring cup.
  2. Sprinkle the contents of the gelatin packet on top of the liquid. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the hot water into the coffee mixture and whisk to blend/melt the gelatin.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk to thoroughly combine.
  5. Pour into silicone mold and slide into the refrigerator. Let chill at least 9 hours. Overnight is best.
  6. Remove from mold and top with shaved dark chocolate.
I used Wilton's bite sized brownie squares mold when I made these. To make unmolding easier, wipe each mold with a little bit of olive or vegetable oil before filling them with the coffee mixture.
